Minstrel Cowl

Knitted from the bottom up, with strategically placed decreases, this fitted cowl…or capelet…or ponchette…rests gracefully on one’s shoulder, with lovely beads running along the chevrons. The beads add just the right amount of weight to keep everything draping well while the shaping keeps it firmly on your shoulders, freeing your hands to do whatever you need them to do. This is a surprisingly easy knit, but the piece ends up being quite stunning. Note the two different beading options, placing beads every row (Teal model) or every other row (Rose model).
